The Nothing Stronger Story. Where do we start... Covid happened. Asked a friend to build a gym in her basement. Opened a gym in her basement. Dragged people down bulkhead stairs. First day I had 5 people. Got home. Jenn told me she was pregnant. Dragged more people down bulkhead stairs.
About to leave basement. Couple tore down the wall to keep us there. First baby is born. More people came. Second baby is born. Had to get a bigger space. Third baby is born. That’s where we are today. Okay, you ready for the full story now? Just kidding. Where we have been doesn’t matter as much as where we are going. We help adults get out of pain, feel strong, and enjoy the gym. Our gym is not for large group classes or people throwing barbells around aimlessly. We don’t cater to those who want to layer their bodies in chalk. If you think you are better than everyone else, we probably aren’t the gym for you either. We keep it small here, on purpose. No groups over 6 people per session. Finally, a place you can get the attention you want and the results you deserve. Each session is led by a coach who will personally coach you at each exercise. We’ll make sure you are doing each rep properly. Our members will tell you that we don’t train jerks. It’s true. Nothing Stronger is a proud, jerk free place. Where you can get the results you want with people you like being around.

Jakub Zalesky
Jess Campbell
With over a decade of experience in the field, Jess Campbell brings a diverse and well-rounded background in strength and conditioning. She has worked with athletes at every level-from youth and high school to collegiate and professional-across a wide range of sports and abilities.
In addition to athletic performance training, Jess has extensive experience coaching adult clients through small group and personal training. Her approach emphasizes long-term health, functional strength, and overall wellness, helping individuals move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives.
Skilled in both small and large group settings, Jess is committed to creating supportive, challenging, and fun training environments that empower clients of all backgrounds to reach their goals.
Jess is a CFSC certified functional strength coach and Precision Nutrition certified.
Our Clinician
Jenn Concannon
Dr. Jennifer Concannon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Westfield State University in 2012 and received her Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. In 2020, she graduated from Moravian University with a Doctor of Athletic Training.
Prior to opening Nothing Stronger Athletic Training in 2021 alongside her husband, Tim Concannon she was an athletic trainer at Endicott College for 8 years, working with the men’s soccer team, women’s ice hockey team, men’s volleyball, women’s lacrosse, cross country and track and field teams. She also served as an educational preceptor for clinical students as well as an adjunct faculty member.
Dr. Concannon has previously served as an adjunct professor at Lasell University’s for the Master of Rehabilitative Science and Health Science program, teaching manual therapy. She currently works as a guest lecturer within the Doctor of Athletic Training program at Moravian University for the Advanced Therapeutic Modalities course and a research advisor of the Master of Athletic Training program.
Dr. Concannon holds several advanced manual therapy certifications in myofascial decompression through Cuptherapy, fascial manipulation specialist through Stecco advanced dry needling specialist through Structure and Function Education and blood flow restriction through Mike Reinold Education. Dr. Concannon frequently provides continuing education opportunities for healthcare providers focused on comprehensive evaluation strategies, and the use of manual therapy skills. Her primary research and publications have focused on fascia anatomy and intervention strategies, specifically using myofascial decompression (aka cuptherapy).
Dr. Concannon serves as the President for the Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts, and the Treasurer-Elect for the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association. Since 2010, Concannon has volunteered at the Boston Marathon.
