No story, just straight to the point today…
So much about weight loss and body transformation is about change. It’s everywhere in marketing from magazines you read to the radio show you are listening to.
Everyone is promising to help you change.
Here’s what I believe.
You probably don’t need to change as much as you think you do.
In my experience, change isn’t the largest issue in the room.
Typically, it’s what you are currently doing that you need to cancel.
Old habits do die hard. but new habits rise above.
Focus your efforts on tossing out the habits that aren’t getting you further before you add in new habits requiring change.
Chances are you know what’s slowing you down.
If it’s an exercise or activity that always gets you injured, let’s switch that up.
If we are feeling sluggish in your day, may we need to consider additional protein in your diet or maybe more sleep (hint: most people need a little more protein in their day)
If we aren’t seeing a scale move, it could be a good time to start looking for a nutrition coach to keep you accountable.
If you want to change, cancel the things that are holding you back first.
