Change is hard.
We want something so bad but for so often, much too little time.
If we don’t get what we want right away, the magical thought we had soon turns to dust and we give up, blame others, or give ourselves a different time in our life when “it’s the right time”.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Whatever identity it is you are trying to match, identify with that type of person.
If the outcome goal is to lose weight = Find a nutritionist to identify with.
If the goal is to run a successful business = Find a business coach you can identify with *cue the hand raise here
If your goal is to be a better athlete = Idolize great athletes, practice as hard as you play, and spend time improving your game outside of your game (lifting weights, eating healthy, and sleeping better than your teammates).
Our goals can all be different, but what is not different is our exposure.
The one who wins is the one who spends more time doing things that identify with the vision for their goal.
I wish it was true that we could just wish, hope, and pray for self-victory overnight. The reality is, it’s a lot of overnights that deliver that outcome.
You are closer than you think you are.
Just keep showing up.
