We train a lot of athletes here at the Nothing Stronger Gym and one thing is consistent amongst all of them.
Tim: “How did you play this weekend?”
Athlete: “Good.”
A game could be 60 minutes or even more and young athletes summarize their performance in one simple word.
Not their fault though. They haven’t been taught the right strategies to analyze their performance in a positive way and create a framework in their head to allow continued success.
We’re here to change that.
We all know mental health is tremendously important. For you, for me, for everyone.
We are here to Lift People and make sure we do the right things to put local athletes in the best position to be successful, both mentally and physically. With that being said, we have a plan in place to address this.
Introducing Connor Stahl-Bryant.
Connor is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (AASP; CMPC) and Mental Health Counselor.
His passion is breaking down the elements of performance so that athletes can better understand the psychological demands of their sport, and respond productively to those demands. He has applied these skills in a variety of settings; from high school track, to collegiate wrestling, to master’s level pianists; from teams, to individual athletes, to coaches.
“No matter what skill level or performance outlet, there is immense potential benefit to the athlete and to those around them when they engage more thoughtfully and purposefully with their performance journey.” – Connor

Connor will be presenting on Mental Health Growth Mindset Strategies – Intro To Sports Psych teaching us the right mindset behind viewing our performance in a positive way.
We’re going to break it up into two nights. One night for athletes, one night for parents.
Athletes from 8th grade to 12th grade are welcomed at the event.
Because of the size of the facility we’ll only accept the first 50 athletes that sign up.
The dates will be Thursday, March 14th at 6:30pm for our Athlete Session and Friday, March 15th at 6:30pm for our Parent Session.
The Parent Session is designed to address what we talked about with your athlete and how you can use this framework to help them progress in growth mindset concepts around sports.
