I had an awesome talk with a member of the gym last week and I want to reflect on it here.
Action is the sum of multiple things happening. Whether you like it or not, there will be an action that delivers some sort of result. This is whether it’s good or bad.
Intent is driving the purpose behind your actions that deliver the result you want to accomplish.
Without intent, action happens.
With intent, action happens.
This comes down to how we act and the intention behind those actions that will sum up our success.
We can pout all we want when the scale isn’t moving our way, when our grades aren’t going up, when we don’t feel fast on the field, but what is our output here?
If we really had to give ourselves an honest grade of 1-10 with the intentional drive being a 10 and unintentional activity being a 1, how high are we putting that grade?
10? 7? 3?
Where your intention lies, so does your ignition.
If you want something, you need to have the right intentions to be the type of person that deserves those results.
You’re going to go somewhere. Action WILL happen.
Make sure it’s the multiple little actions you do today that deliver the greatest, biggest results in the long run.
You’re doing better than you think you are. Just keep playing the long game. Good things will happen when you line up intention with action.
