We all love to hear that our athlete is a great, perfect, all-out superstar. After all, who doesn’t want their athlete to be great at whatever sport they choose to do?
Here’s the thing though…
Your athlete will not improve unless they address what they are truly deficient in.
Introducing the Nothing Stronger Bucket System.
Our athlete development program is designed to uncover what your athlete is great at and also what they are deficient at. We start with our performing testing measurements and pull back the curtain to see what they really can and more important can not do.
After that, we program for them to become efficient, where they are deficient. Here’s where the buckets come in.
Imagine 5 buckets all titled movement, strength, power, and conditioning.
MOVEMENT
STRENGTH
POWER
CONDITIONING
With youth athletes, it’s likely most or all of these buckets are going to be somewhat deficient from where they need to be.
Here’s why.
Your athlete has spent the last 3, 5, or 10 years playing sports. Otherwise known as RUNNING. Or moving a lot if it’s a sport like hockey.
More analogies for you.
There are two sides to every seesaw. One side is STRENGTH, and one side is SPEED. If you had to pick which your athlete has spent more time on its speed all day. They haven’t been introduced to proper strength training and have spent countless hours running or skating up and down a field, court, or ice.
We need to push the seesaw the other way down. We need to get heavier on the strength side of things. This is why when your young athlete is introduced to proper strength training they see dramatic and immediate results in their strength and speed.
This is why your athlete isn’t getting faster, right now.
They have been playing sports their whole life. Running, running, and running. Yet, you still find yourself thinking, “why aren’t they getting faster?” It’s because they can not put more force into the ground, yet.
To get faster they need to get stronger.
Getting stronger requires you to put more force into the ground.
More force into the ground is a faster athlete.
Essentially, allow your athlete the opportunity to get proper strength training and you will see an immediate difference in their game.
With strength comes the opportunity to train power. A stronger athlete, like your future son or daughter, can be trained to be a more powerful athlete. A more powerful athlete is a faster one.
Your athlete is only a few weeks away from completely changing their game.
Nothing Stronger Than Fast Athletes,
Tim
